1. Which expenses do we have to expect?
First of all you need to budget the travel expenses from your country to Kirchberg/Tyrol in Austria. You have the possibility to choose whether you want to come by car, by train or by plane. If you travel by plane, please note that the airports of Salzburg and Munich are closer to the conference venue than Vienna (400km). Furthermore, from the airports of Salzburg and Munich we are able to organize a shuttle for you which costs €50 per person at most.
Secondly you need to take the accommodation costs into consideration. The room rate depends on the category you would like to book. Quality is provided by all of them but the level of luxury varies. In the registration form you will be asked to choose a category and we will book the rooms for you. You have the choice between:
- Hotel (4*)- €66
- Inn- €52
- Bed and Breakfast- €35
The prices are calculated: inclusive breakfast, inclusive VAT, per person/night, based on double rooms and single supplement is € 15 per person/night
Furthermore, for the participation there will only be a nonrecurring contribution towards expenses of €10 per person.
On the first and on the last evening the dinner is included, further meals unfortunately have to be paid on your own.
2. How to approach Kirchberg?
You have the possibility to choose whether you want to come by car, by train or by plane.
If you come by car, please check out Google Maps for the route to “Kirchberg, Tirol”.
If you arrive by train, the closest train station is directly in Kirchbegr as well.

3. Can more than one team from one LAG participate?
Of course it is also possible to send more than one team from a LAG. It is only important that one team consists of 3 persons and if possible there should be at least one woman in a team.
4. Is it also possible to come to the congress without participating in the sport disciplines?
Of course it is also possible for people to participate in the conference without taking part in the sport competitions; nevertheless this should be the exception. People who do not participate in the sport competitions do not need to have a team of three people. So they just do not fill in the fields for the sport disciplines in the registration form. Normally they should be able to submit it nonetheless. Furthermore, we would ask them to mention in the field for "additional comments" that they do not want to participate in the sports competition.
5. What happens if only one or two persons from a LAG can come?
Due to the concept of the sport competition, 3 people from one LAG should be in one team. We understand that it is impossible for some to send 3 persons from each LAG, but of course, nonetheless, it is also possible for them to participate. If there are 3 persons from 3 different LAG’s, they can participate in the conference without any problem. In case of the sport competition, every incomplete team will be supported by Austrians.
6. Which equipment is needed for the sport disciplines?
Regarding the equipment for the sport disciplines you find all information necessary on the homepage under: http://www.info-linc.eu/eng/Programme/Sport-disciplines
Snowshoes, Stielbobs (mini sledges) and ice stocks will be provided, helmets and goggles can be borrowed. Equipment for the skiing and all the clothing, the participants need to bring on their own.
7. How does the European Aperitif work?
Regarding the European Aperitif we politely ask you to send non perishable meals and/or beverages typical for your region sufficient for 3-4 people to our LEADER Office Hohe Salve, before 1.03.2010. Please do not send perishable products such as fruits or vegetables. Meals and beverages that can be consumed cold are requested. On the day of arrival the meals and beverages will please the participant’s palates at the „European Aperitif“.
Thereby all the participants get an insight into the culinary variety of your region. Furthermore, in the scope of this „European Aperitif“ you get the chance to present your region with brochures.
